A look back at Greenbuild 2016

Didn’t make it this year to the world’s largest green building showcase?

No worries.

The U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), which puts on the annual Greenbuild International Conference and Expo, has released a library of videos from October’s 2016 event in Los Angeles. The videos cover everything from LEED to disaster resilience in construction to net zero living.

“Greenbuild 2016 provided a great learning experience, bringing in leaders who share the common trait of championing sustainability and green building,” the USGBC said.

More than 18,000 people attended Greenbuild 2016, according to USGBC statistics. Among registered attendees, 24 percent represented architectural/engineering and design firms, 16 percent were with professional consulting services/education companies and 14 percent were contractors and builders.

There also were 531 exhibitors, representing 77 unique product categories.

Greenbuild 2017 is scheduled for Nov. 8-10, 2017, in Boston. For more information on that event, click here.
